The Federalist Papers - Writings of the Federalist Party During the American Revolution

The Federalist Papers - Writings of the Federalist Party During the American RevolutionAre you familiar with the Federalist Papers? The Federalist Papers is short pieces written by the Federalist Party during the Revolutionary War. They were considered to be the first real call for liberty and freedom, and were very influential. The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson, who was the son of a slave in France. It was written while he was a prisoner of war in France. The Federalists argued that slavery was immoral, and that the American populace wanted to abolish it. The Age of Reason for the new republic was dawning, and so were the efforts to save the Constitution. The arguments in the Federalist Papers are often thought of as being persuasive because of the fact that they were coming from Americans that didn't have any ties to European aristocrats or monarchs. It's also a form of social commentary on what it means to be an American, and who we should represent. What they couldn't foresee was that a year later the American People would stand up in the American Revolution and bring down the King George III. And, when they did, the American Constitution would become a living thing that would continue to evolve. It is interesting to note that when we take a look at the flaws in the American Constitution today, we see them being right in our face. The same flaws are still in place and need to be changed. We cannot continue to allow business and personal agendas to force our legislators to create rules that are not well thought out.We are now struggling with the same problems as our past, but instead of being able to solve these problems, we're using the same mistakes we made during the Revolutionary War. These problems are rearing their ugly heads because we don't know how to take our government back from the wealthy and well connected. The problem is that because we elected these people to represent us, we can no longer trust our elected representa tives. We need to focus on building up free minds and allowing them to take a stand on our Constitution once again. We must learn from our past mistakes and allow the people to set our government back on the right track once again.
